Week 11 certificates

Today we had our last school assembly. Joey and I got the teachers own choice certificates, working hard and always being on task.

ICAS English exam

Today Lauren and I got our certificates from our English exam.

Otago Swimming Champs

Yesterday I went to Otago Champs for swimming. I did really well. I got a personal best in all of my swimming races and I did very well on my individual medley with my butterfly. My training definitely paid off.

Science ICAS exam

On Friday at school assembly, I got the results of my Science ICAS exam.
Four Wakari people sat that exam. I got 21 out of 30. I also got a credit.

Hockey hounds

This year we played hockey.There were 2 teams -Wakari Red and Wakari Green. I have had a lot of fun playing hockey and really enjoyed the chance to trial for the Under 13 Otago team.

Wacky hair and hat day

On Wednesday Wakari school had a Wacky hair and hat day where mostly everyone wore a wacky hat or hair and brought a gold coin donation. All of the money raised went to the Christchurch school appeal.
