Antarctica Tiles

On Friday room 2 made tiles with our research animal on them.
First we had to flatten the clay to make it smooth.
Then we had to draw our designs on the clay with Popsicle sticks.
The next thing we did is we folded the clay to make walls.
Then we mixed plaster with water to make a gooey liquid.
The last thing that we did is put the mixture in to the clay and put a paper clip in the mixture and let it set.

Netball player of the day.



On Tuesday, the player of the day for netball was Emily and she won the trophy for having a great partnership with Samara.

P.E, Netball skills

Today we had P.E. We were focusing on Netball. The skill we did was passing. At the end we had a mini game. The final score was 1-0.

Today is support staff day.Support staff day is when if you see any staff you can say a compliment about how they help around the school. We took a photo of Ginni and four kids that were working with her at that time.

Future All Black in the making

Look out Steve Hansen! Sam had a 'blinder' of a rugby game on Saturday. Playing against West Taieri he scored several runaway tries-way to go Sam. Great to see you playing so well!

Friday art




On Friday Room 2 used some art the techniques
to create some pictures. We used techniques that were called Impasto, Scumbling and Scaffito.
The colours that we chose to use were White, Purple, Green, Blue, Orange and Red.
The best part was using all the techniques together to make an awesome affect.
